As the only school in Ireland approved by the Motor Sports
Association, Super Motorsport Centre’s operations are
run to a very high standard.
Our instructors combine experience with practical teaching
skills to provide you with an exciting, energising experience,
improving your skills and giving you the driving thrill of
a lifetime!
No previous rally driving experience is necessary as our highly
experienced instructors (who are all current rally competitors),
will navigate you through Superdrive’s purpose built
gravel rally stage for maximum sideways action!
Superdrive’s rally fleet includes the awesome new rear-wheel-drive
Ford Focus, six gravel grinding rear-wheel-drive MKII Escorts,
and two turbo-charged Group N Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions
– Evos to the true rally fanatics!
The sound of gravel on the chassis, the whine of a competition
tuned gearbox, opposite lock and totally sideways –
life does not get any better than this!
Intermediate Rally Experience
(Approx duration:
2.5/3hrs)
• Briefing on technical and
safety aspects and car handling
• Three stages in the rear wheel drive rally
cars, either the awesome new RWD Ford Focus or Mark
II Escort RS2000.
• Passenger
run in one of the rear wheel drive rally cars.
• Debriefing.
• Written analysis
on your driving.
• Certificate of accomplishment.
• Drivers must be at least 17 and hold a provisional
driving licence.
• Vouchers are available for any course and are valid
for 6 months.
• Weekday Only’ entitles you to book a session from
Tuesday to Friday.
• ‘Open Choice’ voucher entitles you to choose
any day Tuesday to Saturday and any bank holiday Mondays that
we are open.

• You will arrive at Superdrive with a friendly welcome
from the Superdrive HQ Team.
• Tea, coffee and biscuits are served on arrival and
you will change into Sparco Rally suits and open-faced helmets.
• You will then be introduced to your Rally Instructors
and given a short briefing on the technical and safety aspects
and handling of the cars.
• You will be booked in with a maximum of 9 other people
in your session.
• The group will then be split into two teams of five
drivers, who will share a car and an instructor.
• The instructors have an analysis sheet where they
give you marks out of 10 on seven different aspects of your
driving such as braking, steering, car sympathy and aggression
etc.
• Each person will take it in turn to drive a series
of stages in our rally prepared rear wheel drive Ford Focus
or MKII Escorts and Mitsubishi Evolutions (depending on which
course you have booked).
• Each person drives the amount of stages their chosen
course entitles them to, until every person in each team has
finished all of their stages.
• Each stage is up to 8 laps of the purpose built tarmac
and gravel rally track.
Finally the instructors give a full de-briefing and present
each driver with their personal driver analysis and certificate.
Superdrive is the ONLY Rally School in Ireland to be approved
by the Motor Sports Association and gain membership of the British
Association of Rally Schools (BARS).
